Simplicity Pattern 2907: Done!
Pinning the fabric was not very difficult. I guess once you've worked with stretch knit, pinning something like this on regular cotton is easy.
To make sure I did this correctly, I reread my Sewing 101 book.
I also followed the layout of the pieces suggested by the manufacturer to the letter. The result: easy pinning! And cutting was a cinch. I am very excited to continue!
Finished: April 22, 2011!! Took me way too long to finish... Oh wel...
Itty Bitty Dress - Pattern from Made by Rae
This dress looks simple, yes??? Oh but wait - there's piping involved! Except that you can't see mine because I am piping deficient! I ended up just cutting the piping off once it got swallowed in the seam! Otherwise, YES, this is a simple to sew dress and I love it. Thanks to Made by Rae for the original pattern and the toddler enlargement by Amber. I'm thinking Ella might get this one!
